YouTube just took down my Gasolina video. I don’t care too much since I don’t really use YouTube anymore, but I think that its sad that something so harmless could really upset the studios so much. I mean it was a school project for a class where the assignment literally was take a song and make a video to it. I’m just surprised that in a music video for the song Gasolina, they were threatened by the 15 sec and then maybe 30-40 clip of it at the end. I’m surprised I don’t have Daddy Yankee on my ass about this. Anyways for the hell of it I did dispute it to YouTube using their form.

I am very sorry that my video has threatened your copyright. If you really want this video down I have no problem. But please just see that first off,  this video was just a school project I made years ago in high school. And the song that you are claiming I have used, first of is not the one song that this video is a music video for, but instead a small portion of the song before and after the actual music video. Secondly, this song isn’t even the one you are claiming it is. I used the Frank Sinatra version, not the one by Gene Kelly. So yes, if technically you own the rights to the Frank Sinatra version as well and don’t want this video up, please just tell me and I will take it down from YouTube no problem. Otherwise, please just let it remain, it was supposed to just be fun.
