My Arch Linux broke on my Eee PC a little over a week ago, I finally just now finished fixing it. So glad to have it back, I missed it :(

Somehow my rc.conf, fstab, and inittab got reset. Then also my HAL and GDM completely broke, both requiring reinstalls. Of course I had to figure this all out one by one, as it seemed there was a never ending list of why my computer wouldn’t turn on…

I have no idea what caused this, I did upgrade my kernel prior to 2.6.32.10-1, so maybe that was somehow the cause? And whatever it was, it also it screwed up my wifi so bad that it got disabled at the BIOS level. yeaahhhhhhh.
